BOKEN Sake is the adventure of a lifetime for Japanese-American Daisuke Nakajima. His introductory offering of Japanese Sake, BOKEN (meaning journey or adventure) is a tribute to the artistry and expertise found in centuries-old Japanese breweries.
The brand’s identity strikes a modern note in a visual brand that is anchored by heritage and tradition. This juxtaposition reflects the mission of the brand—to introduce these expertly crafted sake’s to an American consumer in an approachable way. The packaging features Japanese kanji set in a minimalist form with unexpected colors used to create a modern context.
