In the lead up to Major League Baseball’s 2020 season, Newport Craft’s Thomas Tew was named the official rum of the New York Mets. The company also became a craft beer partner with their newest brand, Braven Brewing Co.

 The Brief

Newport Craft required activation of brand assets in and around Citi Field for Thomas Tew Rum and two Braven beers. Alongside the park promotions, assets were created for a digital campaign coordinated with MLB.com.

Design deliverables
  • Design for the Left Field Landing Space (Thomas Tew) and a concourse portable bar (Thomas Tew and Braven Brewing Co.)

  • Design for Left Field and Promenade LEDs (Thomas Tew and Braven Brewing Co.’s Pilsner and Crowded Places) 


  • Design for Marquee Board and Backlit Dioramas (Braven Beer, two beers, three dioramas)

  • Desktop and mobile web ads and homepage roadblocks for both brands
