PROFILE

AMano Pizza + Gelato truck marks a unique entry into the food truck market with its mobile wood-fired pizza oven and glass fronted container truck. The name AMANO—based on the Italian “a mano” meaning “by hand”—is a nod to the handmade creations of Italian chef Simone Ferrara. Following on this central theme, Lakuna Design performed all initial sketches and the final logotype by hand. The palette was drawn from the bisazza tile pizza oven inside the AMano truck.
